Your commitment deserves meaningful compensation—and a team that truly takes care of you.
Surrogacy is an extraordinary gift to another family, but it also asks a great deal of you. It affects your body, your time, your work, your household, and the people who support you every day.
At Love & Kindness, we believe compensation should reflect the full reality of what you are taking on. Our packages are designed to provide generous pay, thoughtful protections, and real support for the moments that matter—from medical appointments and travel to pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
You should not have to choose between feeling well compensated and feeling genuinely cared for. We believe you deserve both.
First-Time Surrogates
Approximately $55,000–$85,000+ in total compensation
Experienced Surrogates
Approximately $65,000–$110,000+ in total compensation
These estimates reflect the value of a Love & Kindness compensation package. Depending on your qualifications and journey, your package may include base compensation, milestone payments, monthly allowances, additional compensation, and support for needs such as travel, missed work, childcare, recovery, wellness, and family protection.
Before you make any legal commitment, we will walk you through your individual compensation, payment schedule, reimbursements, and available support so you know what to expect from the beginning.
Your Package Is Personal to You
No two surrogates have the exact same circumstances, which is why we do not believe in treating every journey as one-size-fits-all.
Your compensation package may take into account:
- Whether you are a first-time or experienced surrogate
- Your pregnancy and delivery history
- Your overall medical profile
- Your location and local cost of living
- Your state’s surrogacy laws
- Your health-insurance coverage
- Your anticipated travel, work, childcare, and family-support needs
Our goal is for you to feel informed, valued, and well taken care of before you ever make a commitment.
Compensation That Recognizes the Whole Journey
Your compensation is not limited to a payment at the end of pregnancy. It is structured to recognize the time, preparation, and commitment involved at every stage of the journey.
Your package may include:
- Base compensation for carrying the pregnancy
- Payments for completing medical and legal clearance
- Compensation for injectable medications and embryo transfer
- A monthly allowance during the journey and postpartum recovery
- Additional payments for certain treatment steps or pregnancy circumstances
- Support for travel, missed work, childcare, recovery, and family needs
Support for Your Real Life
We understand that surrogacy does not happen separately from the rest of your life. You may have children, a job, a partner, household responsibilities, and a schedule that still needs to function while you are in treatment or pregnant.
Your package may include support such as:
Travel Coverage
Approved travel for medical screening and embryo transfer may include flights, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, qualifying mileage, parking, tolls, and daily travel support for you and, when required, an adult companion.
Lost-Wage Support
Qualifying lost wages may be reimbursed for medical screening, pregnancy-related appointments, doctor-prescribed bed rest, delivery recovery, and other approved circumstances.
Childcare and Household Support
Childcare support may be available during qualifying medical travel. If your doctor prescribes bed rest or restricted activity, your package may also include childcare and housekeeping support so your family has help while you focus on your health.
Support for Your Partner or Companion
Your spouse, partner, or designated companion may qualify for lost-wage reimbursement when they need to accompany you to a qualifying procedure or be present for delivery.
Additional Compensation When Your Journey Requires More
Every pregnancy is different. Some journeys require more from a surrogate physically, emotionally, or practically. When that happens, your package is designed to recognize it.
Additional compensation may be available for:
- A canceled transfer cycle through no fault of your own
- A mock cycle or ERA testing
- Twin pregnancy
- Qualifying invasive procedures
- Cesarean delivery
- Termination, reduction, or ectopic pregnancy
- Doctor-prescribed bed rest or restricted activity
- Breast milk pumping after delivery
- Serious medical complications affecting future reproductive ability
Your individual benefit package and legal agreement will explain which payments apply to you and under what circumstances.
Wellness and Emotional Support
Surrogacy is not only a medical process. It can affect your physical well-being, your routine, your family life, and your emotional health.
Pregnancy Wellness Support
During pregnancy and postpartum recovery, you may have access to approved wellness support designed to help you feel cared for physically and emotionally.
Depending on your needs and your OB’s approval, this may include prenatal massage, doula support, chiropractic care, acupuncture, nutrition support, prenatal yoga, personal training, aromatherapy, or other pregnancy-supportive services.
Psychological Support
From matching through postpartum recovery, Love & Kindness can help arrange support with a psychologist experienced in working with surrogates when you feel it would be helpful.
You should never have to handle the emotional side of a surrogacy journey alone.
Protection for You and Your Family
Before embryo transfer, we help guide you through the life-insurance application process so there is meaningful protection in place for you and your family throughout the journey.
The intended parents are responsible for the cost of the policy, subject to the insurance carrier’s underwriting requirements and policy terms.
Your health insurance is also reviewed early in the process so you understand how it may affect your individual package before moving forward.
Paid Throughout the Journey
You should not have to wait until delivery to receive the compensation you have earned.
Before Pregnancy
You may receive payments for medical clearance, legal clearance, medication preparation, and embryo transfer.
During Pregnancy
After fetal heartbeat confirmation, your base compensation is paid in scheduled monthly installments, along with your monthly allowance and any other applicable payments.
After Delivery
The remaining balance of your base compensation is paid promptly after delivery. Postpartum support and any other applicable benefits continue according to your package.
