CT590 S, the latest generation dual band, is the new model that expands the family of MIDLAND amateur radios.
CT590 S is easy to use, ideal for those who need a “basic” device but at the same time equipped with numerous functions and features that make it complete.
Robustness and reliability are guaranteed by the aluminum chassis.
CT590 S operates on the VHF 144-146MHz and UHF 430-440MHz frequency bands and is equipped with 128 storable channels.
The high performance guarantees excellent communications at great distances, thanks also to the 1750Hz tone that allows access to repeater bridges.
It has a flashlight for night lighting, an 87.5-108MHz FM radio receiver and 50 CTCSS tones and 208 DCS codes that allow you to create “sub-channels” to be able to communicate in a small group of people.
CT590 S also allows you to customize your own identifier (ANI-ID) and to be able to send it during transmission (PTT-ID).
The LCD display has an adjustable backlight in 3 different colors, which can be associated with various types of use (reception, transmission, etc.).
The device is programmable thanks to the optional PRG-10 programming software, with which it is possible to set and customize various functions, such as number of channels, frequency, etc.
